Geodedic Survey:   J.D. reading topographic map on the peak of one of the tallest buttes in Montana , named "Mother Butte", near Roundup, Montana.  This remote area was home to only a few ranchers who strictly enforced the " No Trespassing " zones.  Our client was Surface Exploration Services, a geochemical exploration company based in Dallas , Texas.

Note: The sagebrush and natural wildlife
habitat (especially the wild goat trails on the butte) could not be damaged on the Bureau of Land Management property.

Large Oak Tree Assessment, Kennesaw, GA:

The tree displayed a vigorous canopy and leaf color with good nitrogen and iron content.  The ( 60 inch dbh ) trunk was examined using (VTI) method and found structurally sound.   The canopy showed no signs of previous trimming or pruning.  The area around the tree is mostly lawn and has not been recently disturbed.  The lower trunk area has a "bullnose" projection which should not affect the integrity of the tree.  The trunkwood is sound with no apparent decay, which is rare in today's environment.

Note: This tree is very healthy , primarily, due to the undisturbed area
near the root zone.

Hazardous Tree Inspection & Removal:

A large, extremely dangerous, oak tree leaning toward neighbor's home was removed with a 70 ton hydraulic crane near high voltage lines in Decatur Georgia.  The stump ( a secondary factor ) was causing major infrastructure damage to the foundation.

Note: Extensive decay at the first
fork (union) where the 2 remaining sections of crown join. The tree needed to be removed ASAP to prevent a catastrophic loss to both homeownwers.

Heritage Tree Assessment, Cumming, GA:

Large, White Oak (84 inch dbh, approx.400yrs old) was located near an old, abandoned chicken farm in a very remote area.  Almost all of the trees around the existing area were either dead or dying from disease, drought, or urban developement.

Note: This tree was probably protected over the years by surrounded trees, lower elevation, natural
fertilizer, and no heavy traffic near the drip line.  This is truly a sight to see, especially the structure and integrity of the canopy and limb diameters.

Storm Damage Assessment:

Large, stump removed from lake after hurricane in Palm Beach, Florida. (removal required 2, T-300 bobcats with an Implemax winch)

Note: The weight of the rootball was computed between 16,000 to 20,000 lbs
